Children will understand how things have changed and the effect change can have.
Children will be able to talk about changes through time, using experiences from a range of sources, such as the experiences of grown-ups and their own experiences.

•To know the different stages of a person’s life (baby, child, teenager, adult, elderly).
•To be able to give examples of what a person at each life stage can do.
•To know the different time words and be able to order them chronologically (second, minute, hour, day, month, year, decade, century).
•To describe how a school day today is different from one in the past.
•To know how toys have changed over time and what materials they were made from then and now.
