This term we will be focussing on our explore project! 

Our explore project is Geography based and our big question is 'How is one day different around the world?'.

To begin with we will explore the differences between human and physical features around the globe and the impact that humans have on the environment. We will then dive into looking at the four countries that make up the United Kingdom, learning how to locate them on a map and immersing ourselves into the culture of each country looking at their capital cities, famous landmarks and other key characteristics. 

After the half term, we will start looking at the wider world, identifying hot and cold climates and where they are in relation to the Equator. We will spend some time looking at the animals that live in these places and imagining what life would be like if we lived there. 

Finally, we will complete our explore project by looking at the weather in the four seasons and producing our very own weather report!
