Welcome to Year 6

Welcome to Year 6 and welcome from Mr Rich and Mrs Miles. We have lots to exciting things planned for this year and cannot wait to see what your children will achieve.

Children in Year 6 are increasingly encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning. This year, we will be increasingly encouraging independence in preparation for bigger things to come, such as secondary school.  Year 6 children are the role models of the school and I know this class will do Abbey Gates proud – demonstrating the school’s 5Cs: Care   Compassion    Courtesy    Cooperation  and  Confidence.
