All children must read their phonics books at least 3 times per week. Please ensure that you record their reading in their reading diary.

Each week, your child will bring home a list of words to practise reading. These words link to the new graphemes learnt in our phonics session. Please practise reading these regularly with their child to develop their decoding and fluency.

Tricky words should be practised often. These words must be read by sight and cannot be sounded out.
