Information and dates for Small Steps parent drop in support sessions

Sherwood Area Partnership is a partnership of 50 local primary schools who work together to support children’s social/emotional wellbeing, mental health and behaviour needs. The partnership is supported by a small team of professionals who work across the schools offering support to schools and families.  Hannah McKie is the parent support worker who can support parents when they are worried about their child’s wellbeing or behaviour. Hannah is a friendly listening ear for parents looking for help or someone to talk to. This is a confidential text messaging service for parents and carers across Nottinghamshire  - Text Parentline on 07520 619919

Parents and carers can contact the text messaging service for advice from Monday to Friday 9.00am - 4.30pm excluding bank holidays.  Messages sent to the dedicated number are delivered to a secure website, and responded to by the Healthy Family Team.

The texting service is an easy way for parent and carers of children aged 0 – 19 years to confidentially ask for help about a range of issues, such as:

  • feeding and nutrition
  • child development
  • parenting advice and support
  • emotional health and wellbeing
  • behaviour difficulties
  • family health
