Hello and welcome to Year 3

Year 3 is an exciting time for everyone as the journey through Key Stage 2 begins and the children really develop the skills of independent learning. We will, of course, be having lots of fun along the way.

Autumn Term: Explore Project (Geography)

Summer Term: Create Project (Art/Music)

Please support your child at home by asking them questions about what has happened or encouraging them to predict what might happen next based upon what they have read. Children can change their books throughout the week whenever they need to. 

PE will take place on a Tuesday and Thursday and children should come into school in their PE kits on these days. Please also ensure that long hair is tied back on these days and that children are not wearing any jewellery (especially earrings). - Please not the PE days will slightly change in the Spring/Summer term when the children are swimming.
