Here at Abbey Gates, we are really lucky to be supported by a new mental health and wellbeing support service - the CAMHS Mental Health Support Team or MHST as we call it. The MHST can support children and families who are experiencing mental health challenges and help them to learn strategies to cope with their thoughts and feelings both at home and in school.

Our MHST link worker is Georgina Madeley - she is a regular visitor to school, coming in to deliver whole class workshops and group interventions. Georgina is also available to speak to parents and carers at parent/carer and teacher learning review evenings and at parent/carer information sessions which are held throughout the year.
