French
Autumn term
This term, our French unit is called Numbers, Calendars and Birthdays. In this unit we will learn to count higher in French (0-31). We will then learn the French vocabulary for the days of the week and the months of the year. We will then apply our new knowledge to be able to talk about what activities we do during the week and also to be able to tell people when our birthday is.
Spring Term
This term, our French unit is called Food - miam miam. In this unit, we will learn about the culture around food in France and some of the food that France is most famous for. Our new vocabulary will include French words for food and drink and we will begin to learn how to order food and drink in French. We will do this through conversations, creating triaramas and menus and writing/performing our own cafe roleplay.
